# FIFA Street 2 browser saves: export and restore a memory card

Keep a FIFA Street 2 .ps2 memory-card backup and restore it without confusing saves with downloaded resources.

## Save in the game first

FIFA Street 2 uses a virtual PS2 memory card. Follow the game's save prompts and wait for the operation to finish before closing the page. Initial setup may ask to format a new virtual card. Browser persistence does not replace an explicit game save.

## Export your card

Open Player options and choose Export saves. The player writes the card to browser storage and downloads a .ps2 backup. Keep that file outside browser site data. The current format is 8,650,752 bytes, including the PS2 card's spare data.

## Import and restart

Choose Import saves and select a compatible formatted .ps2 card. Import replaces the active card and restarts the runtime, so finish the current session first. The file is read locally; the player does not upload it to the reference game provider.

## Understand the boundary

A memory-card backup contains the saves that the game wrote. It is not a snapshot of a running match and cannot promise to resume the exact moment you left. Compatibility with external emulator cards depends on card layout and game version. Do not change a file extension and assume that its format has changed.

## Browser storage can disappear

Storage belongs to this domain and browser profile. Private browsing, device changes, cleanup and storage pressure can remove it. Clear downloaded files targets the resource cache only; the browser's own Clear site data action can also delete your card.

## Validation evidence

The local desktop test created a game save, exported the card, refreshed the page and imported the backup. Card size and SHA-256 stayed identical. This checks file persistence and restore, without claiming a complete career progression or mid-match save-state test.
