# FIFA Street 2 browser loading and black-screen help

Understand FIFA Street 2 startup downloads, later scene loading and safe retry steps.

## What downloads first

FIFA Street 2 browser play prepares the running code and a startup list of 325 disc chunks. The list contains 85,196,800 bytes, about 81 MiB. The running code and startup package add roughly 29 MiB. The source disc is about 4.70 GB, but the player reads it in chunks rather than waiting for a complete download.

## Why a later scene can pause

A new match or court may request additional files. A cached title screen does not mean every scene is available. Stay connected and keep the tab visible. A data request that fails at the source can interrupt loading even when your browser meets all graphics requirements.

## If the screen stays black

Read the visible status. Update desktop Chrome or Edge, enable hardware acceleration and close unnecessary graphics-heavy tabs. Check the browser support guide if the player reports missing WebGPU, JSPI or isolation. Then retry once on a stable connection.

## Cancel and retry

Cancel loading removes the unfinished game instance. It does not deliberately delete your memory card. If a running game stops, export a save backup when the option remains available before reloading the page.

## Clear resources without deleting saves

After reloading, open Player options before starting a new session and select Clear downloaded files. This removes the dedicated browser resource cache. It does not remove the IndexedDB memory card. Your browser's separate Clear site data command is broader and can remove both downloads and progress.

## Current resource dependency

This player currently reads game resources through the reference provider. It does not include that site's advertisements, accounts or matchmaking. Provider availability can affect game loading, and a local cache of one match is not a complete offline edition.
